I'm an engineering research associate in the Poldrack Lab at Stanford University. My research involves the development and analysis of principled methods for elucidating patterns in neuroimaging, genetics and other large-scale biological data for clinical applications and to advance scientific exploration. I work primarily with Russell A. Poldrack and Pradeep Ravikumar.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a PhD in Electrical Engineering advised by Joydeep Ghosh. My thesis was titled "Constrained relative entropy minimization with applications to multitask learning" (defense slides - pdf).
